Stewy Weekend

Calderetang Kambing

This weekend i prepared this kalderetang kambing (goat meat stew). I was lucky to buy goat's meat at the supermarket because this kind is not usually available on meat section. In the usual caldereta dish, tomato sauce is the common sauce being used but for this kind i used turmeric. Goat's meat is sauteed in onions,garlic and fresh tomatoes then added with potatoes and pepper. Slowly cooked until the sauce thickens and garnished with leeks and bell pepper. This menu is just perfect for rice toppings.
