Weekend Nilaga

My relatives spent their weekend at home and as usual my role is their "chef".hehehe. Well, i always enjoy cooking and i had this Beef Nilaga in Vegetables for them. Cooking this meal is so simple. You just have to boil the beef until tender (usually 1 hour 30 minutes). The vegetables I added were cabbage, potatoes and gabi (kind of root crop). Seasoned with salt, pepper and fish sauce then garnished with fresh green leeks. Everybody enjoyed eating the hot serving of broth, beef and vegetables after a stressful travel to the city.
