Asado Meal

Pork Pata (Hind) Asado with Fried Potatoes

An Asado (tangy stew) adventure for this weekend cooking . Pork hind slices, boiled until the meat becomes tender. The dish is simmered in soy sauce, brown sugar, bay leaves and peppercorn. Star anise gives the dish that distinct oriental flavor. The fried potatoes blended well with the meat and spices. Another great menu for more servings of rice. :D..
