Oats of the Day

I like oat meals as part of my diet. Oats ( Quaker Oats brand ) are 100% whole grain and a natural source of carbohydrates and fiber. The soluble fiber (beta glucan) in oats acts like tiny sponges that soak up cholesterol and remove it from the body. Daily consumption of 70 grams (8 tablespoons) of quaker oatmeal does work in lowering one's cholesterol level. Just add hot water and let it stay about 5 minutes before eating. You can enjoy having this meal with fresh milk and fruits.
