S and S Evening with LapuLapu

Sweet & Sour Lapu-Lapu

I had a great chance in the wet market to avail the low price per kilo of lapu-lapu (grouper) fish. This kind of seafood is quite pricey and when I bought it was a perfect timing for a sweet and sour menu. Lapu-Lapu fish cleaned very well and deep fried in olive oil until crisp golden brown. The sweet and sour sauce sauce was a combination of tomato ketchup, vinegar, sugar, soy sauce and cornstarch. Leeks and bell pepper were added as garnishing. Sarap!
