Halaan Soup


This menu is perfect for cold rainy days since it is always raining  for almost a week already. I prepared halaan soup (fresh clams) as the main ingredient. Clean throughly the clams.Set aside. Boil water in a casserole then add onions, tomatoes, lemon grass, ginger and fresh clams. Put salt and seasonings. Adjust according to taste  that it should not be too salty. Any green leafy vegetable can be used here and for this menu I added fresh kangkong (water spinach) as my green toppings. Serve immediately. A deliciously healthy meal.
