Fresh tropical fruits

I am thankful for the abundance of fresh tropical fruits here in the city. Almost a year round, bananas, papaya and avocado are always available in the market. Eating fresh fruits is always a healthy choice for me. Aside from the good benefits on my well being, fruits are believed to be the great sources of essential nutrients that everyone should have in their daily food intake. These fruits are very affordable. Great to make as fruit shakes, fruit salads or can be taken as it is.

Macaroni salad

No doubt this macaroni salad is everyone's favorite at home. I cook the salad pasta according to packaging directions. drain then set aside. When cool, I add mayonnaise, condensed milk  and salad dressing. Put the kaong, fruit cocktail and raisins. Top with some grated cheese. Chill for five hours or preferably  overnight. The combination of all the ingredients makes this serving taste just great. Best to prepare on any occasions at home.

Waffle pretzels

It made me curious one day when I did some groceries and I saw this pack of waffle pretzels. It tastes unique for me because its crunchy, light salted and a designed bite sizes of it. Taking one pretzel keeps me wanting for more until I can consume a handful. Best paired with any kind of soup. An imported product that is worth a try.

Breakfast meal

I thought of cooking this breakfast meal at home last week-- fried slices of meat loaf and scrambled eggs. The meat loaf is taken out of its can then slice.Fried in hot oil until golden brown. It does not need to be deeply fried because the meat loaf is already pre cooked. For the scrambled eggs, I sliced green onion leaves then added to scrambled eggs, fried in a medium fire for a few minutes then serve in a serving plate and ready for a breakfast. best serve with rice and a cup of hot coffee. Yummy breakfast!

Raisin cookies

There are lots of cookies available in the market but my favorite is always raisins cookies. I like the sweet taste of the cookie with the soft raisins on top of it. The crunchiness and sweetness of this comfort pieces of bread ease the boredom that I have especially when I am doing nothing. I can even eat everything in one seating a pack of this cookies. I think I have to buy one this weekend.

Hot noodle servings

I considered noodles as a comfort food especially during rainy days. The hot spicy servings of this bowl of noodles just filled my day. It is a Korean brand of noodles that I bought from the imported section of the mall. It relieved me from my stress when I got home from a hard days work. Like the taste compared to the local brands. The noodles are firm and tasted real. Many more delicious flavors to taste next time.

Pizza take out

A delicious seafood pizza in vegetable toppings that I taken out from a pizza store in the mall. Just being curious about the toppings and it is really delicious. The seafood flavor best combines with the tomatoes, greens and the mayonnaise. This is a good for two servings and i feel full already after consuming some slices.

I bought this pack of all natural baked fries in a a store that sells organic products. Just wanted to taste the naturally baked one and compared it to the fries being sold in the fast food. It tasted much different because this baked one has lighter taste of fats. There are other flavors available and I want to try them all.

Pasta treat

Cooking a pasta dish at home is simply irresistible by everybody. There was no occasion when I cooked this pork shrimp pasta in creamy sauce. Cravings were just present so this dish filled everyone's palate. I chose an imported pasta spaghetti cooked al dente. I believe that the secrets to a delicious pasta dish are quality of ingredients. Ground pork and large shrimps saute in onions and garlic. Cream sauce added the mixture the simmer with salt and seasonings. Poured on cooked pasta then mixed all together. Garnished with some basil leaves for presentation. Yummy pasta treat everyone!

Orange scent dish washing liquid

After cooking and eating here comes loads of dishes to wash in the kitchen sink. I always make sure that I have this orange scent dish washing liquid. It is made of pure concentrate specifically made for dish washing purposes. A few drops in the sponge can wash many used utensils like plates, ladles, spoons, fork and even pots and frying pans.This bottle concentrate would lasts for more than a month when regularly used at home.

Pork adobo in rosemary

I always do adventures when cooking at home. When I had time last weekend I cooked this pork adobo in dash of rosemary. The usual style of cooking adobo - pork belly cuts, soy sauce, onions, garlic, cane vinegar, salt and pepper cooked together. A few minutes before the meat and seasonings blended together, I added some dried rosemary leaves. Simmer for a while mixing all the ingredients. I love the taste! It is still an abodo flavor with an aromatic flavor of rosemary.

Chill with red wine

My favorite drink after eating with red meat dishes is a red wine. It is of red color because it is derived from skins of dark colored grapes. There are lots of red wine brands available in the market- sweet or semi sweet . Before serving, I see to it that the wine is chilled and poured in a wine glass to distinctively taste the real red wine flavor. Great to chill drink at any occasion.
